The EC6 is NIO’s third production model electric smart coupe SUV released on December 28, 2019, with a 100kWh battery pack that allows for a 615km NEDC range and 100km acceleration of up to 4.7 seconds.

A brief Introduction to NIO EC6

Appearance：
In terms of appearance, the front face of the NIO EC6 remains virtually unchanged compared to the ES6, still adopting NIO’s signature X-Bar design language, with split headlights providing a very high degree of recognizability for the entire front face.
On the side of the body, with the sliding back design, the EC6 has a stronger sense of sportiness, while the wind resistance coefficient has been reduced to 0.27Cd. However, the rear passenger space and luggage compartment volume will be reduced, and the Azalea EC6 adopts an integrated dome-style glass roof with an area of 2.1 square meters, and almost the entire roof is glass, which provides a sense of openness and permeability inside the car. This glass has an energy transmittance rate of 15%, which can effectively insulate against heat, plus it can also insulate 99.5% of UV rays.

Interior：
For the first time, the interior of the NIO EC6 is made of Haptex, a sustainable and environmentally friendly material with very low VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds). This material has already been widely used in the fashion industry, and for the first time NIO is using it in the interior of a car, i.e. “Human with Temperature”.

Power：
The NIO EC6 is available with 70kWh and 100kWh battery packs, with the former having a NEDC range of up to 440km, and the latter having a NEDC range of up to 615km. the EC6 Signature and Performance versions accelerate from 0-100km/h in 4.5s, and the Sport version accelerates from 0-100km/h in 5.4s.
